Tennis is explosive, rotational and repetitive — a recipe for shoulder, hip and back issues if your body isn’t prepared. Reformer Pilates builds the rotational power and joint stability that make your serve heavier and your movement sharper.
We assess your serve mechanics, hip mobility and shoulder stability, then train the links that turn effort into pace and control.
A big serve comes from a coordinated kinetic chain — legs, hips, core and shoulder firing in sequence. On the reformer we develop that sequencing, strengthen the rotator cuff and scapular stabilizers, and unlock hip and thoracic rotation for a cleaner unit turn.
You’ll serve with more pace, change direction faster, and protect the shoulders, hips and back that take the most punishment on court.

How does Pilates help tennis players?
By developing rotational power, shoulder stability and hip mobility — the foundation of a heavier serve and quicker, injury-free movement.
Do I need Pilates experience to start?
No — many of our athletes are new to the reformer. Your first visit is a free 30-minute assessment, one-on-one with a coach.
How often should I train?
Most athletes see the best results with 1–2 sessions a week alongside their sport — enough to build and hold gains without adding fatigue.
Will it help my chronic tennis elbow or shoulder?
Often, yes — by fixing the scapular and rotational mechanics upstream that overload the elbow and shoulder, though we'll coordinate with your provider for acute injuries.
Can you work around my season and other training?
Yes — we periodize your Pilates around your competition calendar and existing strength work so it complements, never competes.
